Thank you for supporting the Leonard I. Beerman Foundation's commitment to peace and justice.
Your donation will help fund the annual Leonard I. Beerman Award for Social Justice in Action and further the work of our foundation as well as that of other individuals and organizations deeply committed to peace and justice. In 2019, the Foundation introduced a new feature of its work through the Leonard I. Beerman Social Justice Fellows. The Fellows are selected by a committee that seeks out extraordinary young individuals who demonstrate the courage to speak truth to power and build a better world that Leonard Beerman continuously demonstrated. The inaugural class of Beerman Fellows are Rachel Sumekh, Jacob Plitman, and Mayor Michael Tubbs of Stockton. The cost of a Fellowship is $10,000. Please join in supporting the exceptional young activists who become Beerman Fellows by making a donation today.
The Leonard I. Beerman Foundation for Peace and Justice is a California Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation operated for charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Your donation is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
